Description

Loropetalum ‘Plum Gorgeous’ is an evergreen shrub with striking deep plum coloured foliage all year round. It has clusters of bright magenta pink ribbon flowers in spring and autumn. It has a pendulous, graceful growth habit on a compact plant. It is a low maintenance, easy care plant. It prefers a sunny to part shaded position, and a rich moist, slightly acidic soil, but will grow on a wide range of soil types. It makes a good specimen plant, informal hedging plant, or for massed planting. It does well in containers for small spaces such as courtyards and patios. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring. Prune if desired to encourage a compact growth habit.
